Quite a huge growth no ? 70% from last quarter… Impressive holiday season from Apple.

Interesting facts:

– 15.5 million iPad sold. According to previous results, there are now 55 millions iPad out there as of january 2012.

– despite already being a hit for Apple, iPhone product line is still racing ahead in terms of growth rate, at an amazing +130% from last quarter.

– iPhone sales represents 50% of Apple’s revenues.

– iPad sales already represents 20% of Apple’s revenues.  A +110% from last year Q4 2011.

– Average revenue per iPad  = 600$.  Average revenu per iPhone = 660$. Yes, you got it right …

– iPod sales are declining, -20% from last year quarter.

– iPad sales generate more revenue than iMac sales !

 

Total quarter turnover = 46 billion $.

Total net profit = 13 billions $ = 28% net result.

Simply amazing.
