Top 10 Productivity apps for iPad – August 2014

Things seem to be pretty quiet this summer in August. No notable changes have identified in the Top Charts for Productivity Apps for iPad.
However we can see that the “Dapp the App Creater”, freshly welcomed on the Top 10 Free Productivity Apps for iPad has now fallen into the depth of the App Store (out of the Top 200). It is pretty common for an app that isn’t well established to face huge rank changes; however, going from the Top 10 (which is not easy to reach when you see that it is occupied by Microsoft, Google and Yahoo) to outside of the Top 200 is pretty astounding.

Then, apart that now the Notes App are 30% of all Top 10 Productivity Apps for iPad, nothing has changed enough to be noticed.

Therefore the conclusion is the same as last month. We can see that the Free productivity apps are still under the dominance of the big branded editor like Google, Microsoft or Yahoo and are also the most profitable.
The paradigm appears to be Free Charts for big brands and Paid ones for little ones.
