Concerning “pay” productivity apps, 50% of apps are for note taking, while 40% for downloading and processing files (GoodReader, PDF Expert, Open Word Processor), to import, organize and share different types of business files. iWork apps (Pages, Keynote and Numbers) are still present in the Top 10.In “free” apps, we see the opposite effect, tools for sharing and backing up files in the cloud are still top ranking. These represent 40% of the Top (Gmail, Dropbox, Google Drive and Yahoo Mail), while 30% are for note taking (Microsoft OneNote for iPad, Evernote, Paper by FiftyThree).
