iPad in the enterprise is extending
For 2011, through differents surveys, the iPad in the enterprise is quickly growing that’s why we decided to write about iPad expanding into the business market. For 2012, in a +98% growing market, the iPad should represent 61% of the market with 73 million units ahead with Android 37 million units sold. The iPad is expected to account with 170 million units for 46% of the market of tablets in 2016. At that time the iPad will outstrip Android tablets with 137 million units sold and the Windows Tablet 43 Million units sold (Gatner’s information). Apple establishes itself far ahead its competitors and iPad in the enterprise is increasingly adopted: 22% already have implemented tablets to improve their process and 83% of those with plans for tablet adoption indicate they would choose iPad. The main reason which explains why companies prefer to roll-out iPad rather than other tablets is the availability of productivity tools (53%). |
Since the iPad’s release two years ago, many applications allow to efficiently use the iPad in the enterprise, even if you are away from your office. Taking notes during meeting, editing files (Microsoft Office, PDF), giving presentations (slideshows). For each iPad’s features you can find many applications that answer your need.
Achieving greater efficiency at work is the main aim of companies and Apple has succeeded in proving that the iPad in the enterprise can be a powerful business tool to get things done and achieve productivity gains, especially while on the move.
On our side, we saw huge potential for productivity gains in the writing / note taking business process and thus decided to develop Beesy, an application to help you streamline your notes and task management workflow.
Beesy among the best business apps for iPad in the enterprise
Beesy is a business note taking application for iPad created for saving time at work and also following up tasks. Indeed, for many people, the note taking workflow in meeting is mostly taking notes on paper or a notebook, minutes sent by email and a follow-up which is not efficient by looking-up in their notes. Beesy’s essential idea is that most business people at work do not like to configure tasks in a tool to manage them – it takes time and it’s necessary to update them – however many business people would like to be organized. By following these initial thoughts that most of actions are taken or followed-up during meetings, we created an app to take notes and automatically generate To-Do lists. Using iPad in the enterprise with Beesy will give you a new answer to this problem by:

Eventually, our team got bigger since last month with the arrival of Islam and Vincent to help us promote Beesy around the globe. We thought that a good product should deserve the best possible promotion. Islam is a student at ISC Paris while Vincent is studying at ESG Paris. Both are Paris based school of management. And Both Islam and Vincent should graduate in Digital Business next year. |
